Two interface forms of SSMP connectors

SSMP connector is a miniature version of SMP type connector, also known as GPPO/SMPM connector, is a smaller push-in RF coaxial connector, mainly used for the close row connection between RF modules. It has the characteristics of easy connection, light weight, small size and wide working band. With the development of microwave components towards high integration, miniaturization and high frequency band, SSMP such ultra-small and high index high performance connectors are widely used.

SSMP is divided into two interface forms of light-hole and escapement according to different connection holding power, which meet different application requirements respectively.
1, Smooth bore interface (Smooth bore) connection retention force is minimal, allowing axial and radial misalignment, service life of more than a thousand times, often used in blind plug connection.

                                   
2, escapement type interface (Full detent), the best connection holding force, connection is not easy to take off, anti-vibration, shock performance is the best, but the service life of only about 300-500 times, commonly used in cable connection.
