1.1 360 ° bending test method
This method is the earliest adopted method, the test procedure is as follows-
As shown in Figure 1, the specimen is connected to the two ports of the network analyzer in the natural bending state (bending radius as large as possible, preferably close to the flat state), and the phase of the phase stable cable is zeroed. One end of the sample under test (Port1) is always connected to the network analyzer, and the other end (Port2) is disconnected from the network analyzer, and the mandrel with the specified diameter D is placed near the center of the sample, and then the sample is coiled 360" against the mandrel. Then the disconnected end (Port2) will be reconnected to the network analyzer, the test phase - frequency curve will change, and record the amount of phase change at different frequencies.
